Lama Zopa Rinpoche's Practice Advice
Lama Zopa Rinpoche has advised certain prayers and mantras that one can do to help protect oneself and others from the Coronavirus, as well as to help stop the spread of the virus. Rinpoche recently added additional advice.
The FPMT has also created helpful resource pages to support those doing the practices. Click the buttons below to access these resources, including recordings of Rinpoche reciting the mantras, etc.
Please enjoy the new video from Rinpoche that includes oral transmissions of the practice. Watching this video attentively, if viewed with the intention of receiving the oral transmission from Lama Zopa Rinpoche, can qualify as having received the oral transmission of the mantra and prayers. Please note that, according to tradition, if one is taking an oral transmission from Lama Zopa Rinpoche, this establishes a guru-disciple relationship. Those listening without intending to receive the oral transmission are not established in a guru-disciple relationship, and do not receive the oral transmission, but may still enjoy the teachings.

If you want to be happy,
Our prime purpose in this life is to help others.
And if you can’t help them,
at least don’t hurt them.”
