Welcome back and happy
birthday Geshe-la!
We welcome back our Resident Teacher
Lharampa Geshe Wangchen.
Geshe-la has completed two retreats
this summer. We rejoice in all
of the extensive merit created and dedicated.
We will be celebrating Geshe-la’s
birthday on the same day as
Geshe-la’s first teaching of the year.
Sunday, March 7 at 10am
will be Geshe-la’s first teaching
of 2010 and will be followed by a
Birthday Party Potluck Lunch and Stupa
walk around. Everyone is
welcome and we encourage you to bring
a vegetarian dish to share.
Come wish Geshe-la a happy birthday.
There is a group card that is
being signed this week and on Sunday,
we welcome you to include
your birthday wishes. See Rinchen to
sign it. The card will be presented
to Geshe-la with DCI’s birthday present
on Sunday at the party. Anyone
wishing to include an offering or gift
is welcome.

Group prayer 100 times
more powerful
Kyabje Zopa Rinpoche explains
that in the Kadampa Geshe’s
teachings it is explained if you do prayer alone at
your house
and doing prayer
together in a group. 100 times more power
if you do in a group. Prayer for success, projects, healing. It
has
more power, it has more weight.
(From FPMT Audio Teachings Chanting
the Names of Manjushri)
One of the many benefits of having a
local Dharma centre is that
there is a place, where you can join
together with Sangha and
do group prayer, group practice, and
study the teachings of the
Buddha.
We welcome you to
come and enjoy the classes, pujas and
opportunities for
creating merit available this March at
Dorje Chang
Institute.

Good News to Rejoice
About
The entire teachings of the Buddha (Kangyur)
and the entire
works of Lama Tsong Khapa (Tsumbum)
arrived last Friday
at Dorje Chang Institute. These will
go in our Prayer Wheel
for World Peace. We rejoice that we
are one step closer to the
completion of our prayer wheel.
