DCI will Reopen for the Start of our 2022 Program

Updated: 1 December 2021

Dear DCI Community,

Dorje Chang Institute has decided that, as we are nearly at the end of our 2021 program, and given the Covid case numbers, the imminent start of the new traffic light system, and our wish to keep people as safe as possible, we have decided not to have any in-person public events for the last part of 2021. The prayer wheel room will also remain closed till the start of our 2022 program. The office will close from 15 December for the annual summer break.

We look forward to beginning our 2022 Program on 20 February and will be in touch closer to the time with more details (if you are not on our mailing list, you can sign up here).

We hope everyone has a very safe, healthy and enjoyable summer.

Help us get ready for the new year! We are undertaking many projects and works to prepare for next year and need your help to support them. You can read more about these activities and opportunities on our DCI Field of Merit Page. Enjoy the opportunity to create merit, inspiration and to take care of this place of Dharma for the benefit and healing of all sentient beings! Help us in creating harmony, optimism and hope for 2022.

During the last part of our 2021 program, we encourage you to enjoy the high quality audio recordings of our weekly classes.

The Perfecting Patience class was extended to 12 sessions followed by a retreat guided meditation session on 12 December. All 12 sessions plus the retreat session audio recording can be requested. Please use the DCI Audio Recording Request Form. It is not too late to start listening to these class sessions as you can request all sessions from the start of this class onwards. These recordings will be requestable until 14 December.

For the Tuesday BP Intermediate class, Grounds and Paths of Secret Mantra, all Dharma Friend Monthly Contributors who are registered for this class, are automatically sent the link to the recording of each class during the lockdown. There are requirements for joining this class.

Dedications and offerings at our regular Medicine Buddha Pujas, Guru Pujas with Tsog Offerings and Tara Pujas can be sponsored here. The last puja of 2021 will be on Monday, 13 December.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and kindness.

Stay well and take care,
Dorje Chang Institute

practice compassion.

If you want to be happy,
practice compassion.

Our prime purpose in this life is to help others.
And if you can’t help them,
at least don’t hurt them.”
