taught by Geshe Wangchen
Sundays in July
4 Classes: Sundays, 1, 8, 15, 22 of July, 10am – 12pm
1 Retreat Day: Sunday 29 of July, 10am – 4pm
Excellent for all levels!
Class Description
By learning how to effectively purify our past negative karma we can free ourselves from having to experience the suffering results of those actions in the future. The practice of Prostrations to the Thirty-Five Confession Buddhas was one of the main preliminary practices performed by Lama Tsongkhapa and contains many powerful ways to help purify negativities, stop bad habits, and accumulate very strong merit.
In this practical Sunday series (4 classes + 1 retreat day) Geshe-la will introduce and show us how to get the most from this practice (which can be done in both brief and extensive ways). When we know how to make the practice potent, so much purification can happen so quickly! Everyone is welcome!
“How much we purify negative karma
depends on the mind.
Our minds create negative karma,
but our minds can also purify so much negative karma.”
