Presenting the Path Retreat Day

FPMT Discovering Buddhism Series Module:

Presenting the Path Retreat Day

led by Simon Harrison

This retreat day is offered at the conclusion of the DB module Presenting the Path taught by Simon Harrison on Monday nights 7.30 – 9pm, 12 April – 21 June (10 weeks). This retreat day is also open to others who have familiarity with the lam-rim or Path to Enlightenment and who wish to attend.

Excellent for all levels!

Meditate on the entire Tibetan Buddhist path to enlightenment. This retreat day will focus on engaging in guided meditations on the lam-rim, or “graduated path to enlightenment.” A familiarity with the Graduated Path to Enlightenment or Lam-rim will be required, but not necessarily from this course. The retreat day will not include further explanation or commentary on the topics, but will provide time for some discussion in addition to the review meditations.

Retreat Day Facility Fee $30 (Dharma Friend Monthly Contributors are $20)

Lunch will be done vegetarian potluck style. Please bring a dish to share with everyone.

More about the Discovering Buddhism Series

Discovering Buddhism is a fourteen-module series that gives the student a solid foundation in the teachings and practice of Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism. Mind and Its Potential is the first module in the series. Developed by the FPMT, this series is both accessible for newer students and also very helpful for students who have already studied Buddhism for a while, but wish to have a more solid foundation. To read more about this FPMT program and what the topics of the fourteen modules are click here.
